General Information
From all the movies that I have ever seen, the one underlying rule that always seems to be followed, is that of the ghost having unfinished business and not being able to rest until it is completed. It happens in Casper, and it happens in Thir13teen Ghosts as well.
Looking for ghosts is not as easy as one might think. I personally have never seen a ghost, and I do not dote on what I might do if I ever saw one. Although, have you ever felt like you were being watched, although there was no one around for miles? I have had that experience plenty of times, but not once have I actually seen a ghost. I like to think that things are better off the way that they are
Merriam Webster defines 'ghost' as the following: the seat of life or intellenge, a disembodied soul, spirit, demon , a faint shadowy trace, a false image in a photographic negative or on a television screen caused especially by reflection.
There are various types of ghosts. If a ghost seems monotonous in what it does and does not seem to be realated to the area in which it dwells, then it is considered to be a haunt.
Do you think these images are real ghost images? The web collector's site seems to think so, but you judge for yourself.
A lot of the 'spirit photography' that is floating around can be argued because it is not hard to replicate real spirit photography by using software such as Adobe Photoshop. It is relatively easy to create your own versions of spirit photography. Below are some samples of what I mean.
Ghosts are, apparently everywhere, regardless of whether on not we see them. Why one would go searching for ghosts is beyond me, but to each their own
